Autoship Systems Stabilizes
Offshore Industry
Autoship Systems Corporation (ASC) is pleased to
announce that the Offshore Simulator Centre (OSC) in
Aalesund Norway have decided to incorporate Autoload®
3D on-board loading software into their real time simulator
system.
Anchor handling courses at OSC will now be able to
handle and train operators in the stability aspects
of the process alongside the practical aspects of anchor
handling and other advanced offshore operations.
The loading condition for a given anchor handling operation
will be prepared in Autoload, and the vessels
floating position and dynamic motion response will be
according to correct mass / mass distributions and free
surface effects.
Loads introduced by the anchor handling operation will
be fed back to Autoload, so that the vessels
floating position, stability and motion response will
be correctly updated.
The data will be exchanged automatically during the
simulation.
At the same time, ASC is also pleased to announce that
they have established Autoload Services,
a collaboration arrangement between ASC, and the Autoship
Dealers; Coastdesign Norway, David Henry Architecture
Navale and AutoShip Systems UK.
By combining the technical, organizational experience
and capacity of these three Dealers, with the proven
track record of ASC, Autoload Services will be
able to deal with the high demands of the fleet-wide
sales and implementation of Autoload software,
and in addition will provide world-wide training and
emergency response services, using the Autoship Dealer
network and other associates.
