Offshore Sale of Autohydro
Pro to Halliburton Productos of Brazil
March 6, 2003
Autoship Systems Corporation (ASC) has sold its Autohydro
Pro software to Halliburton Productos of Brazil, a division
of Global Halliburton of Texas. Halliburton will use
Autohydro Pro to develop stability reports for
local offshore structures.
ASC has recently turned its 20 years of maritime programming
expertise towards developing hydrostatic, loading, and
cargo management solutions specifically for vessels,
rigs, and platforms in the Offshore market.
Autohydro is a complete hydrostatics and stability
calculations program for naval architects, ship designers
and marine engineers. A true 'floating simulator', Autohydro
reports the reaction of the model to various conditions
- such as loading configuration, damage, wind, high
speed turning momentum, etc. Autohydro has extensive
model building capabilities that allows easy development
of the complex 3-D digital models used for calculations
- which gives Autohydro its ability to obtain
hull form characteristics and capacities. Vessel attitude
is displayed graphically and in text on the screen.
Report information can be shown on the screen, and can
also be edited, printed, saved or exported to other
Windows applications.
Autoship Systems Corporation is a world leader in loading
instrument software, integrated load planning systems,
and marine CAD/CAM programs.
Founded in 1919, Halliburton
is one of the world's largest providers of products
and services to the oil and gas industries.
