Lines Signs SPS Contract With ASC!

Autoship Systems Corporation signed a contract today
with Westwood Shipping Lines to develop the functional
specification for a Stowage Planning System (SPS).
Autoship's SPS will provide state-of-the-art stowage
planning, hydrostatic calculation, and stability prediction
software for Westwood's seven new open-hatch bulk carriers
being built in Gdansk, Poland.
Westwood
Shipping Lines is the shipping arm of Weyerhaeuser,
an international forest products company of Federal
Way, WA. They will receive the first of their seven
new vessels in March of 2002.
ASC is an industry-leading provider of integrated load
planning systems and logistics chain software consulting
