Lines Purchases SPS from ASC!

Autoship Systems Corporation has signed with Westwood
Shipping Lines to develop a Stowage Planning System
(SPS) for seven new break bulk/container vessels.
Autoship's SPS is a state-of-the-art system that greatly
improves the efficiency and flexibility of both stowage
planning and cargo tracking operations. Fully integrated
into Westwood Shipping Lines' global Business System,
the software will equip each of the seven new vessels
as they are delivered from Gdynia Shipyard, Poland,
from March 2002 to September 2003.
Westwood Shipping Lines is the shipping arm of Weyerhaeuser,
an international forest products company of Federal
Way, WA.
